Review: England Weekend Games

Lots of Penalty Controversy:

Was Middlesborough's penalty justifed? Wenger chose to play it down. I thought Middlesborough played well. As usual, their problem is consistency: they play well one day, and go to sleep the next.

Ronaldo seemed to have dived against Tottenham. But Manchester United thoroughly deserved that win.

Chelsea while not at their best won at Charlton.

It looks like Manchester United are not about to take their foot off the pedal. Rooney however suffered an injury, the extent of which remains to be seen.

For me it looks like positions 1 and 2 are decided more or less, with 3/4 being between Liverpool and Arsenal.

Fellow Pundit. If i have to say it out.To me the penalty was not justifiable but the red possibly was.Not a penalty because yes Senderos stupidly held Yakubu not much contact for him to fall though but this was just outside the box.Possibly a red card because Senderos was the last defender and interfered with a goal scoring opportunity.Yakubu actually dived on reaching the box and the Pathetic Mike Riley Pointed penalty(inconsistency in refs is very high so to speak. On the title bid, I give it up coz Man U don't seem to be about to loose the grip and let go. I do agree with you that no.1 and 2 are already decided while 3 is up for grabs between Arsenal and Liverpool while 4 is still between the latter 2 and Bolton.
For Ronaldo it was a clear dive and disgusting for a player of his calibre. Man U deserved a win in the second half but not the first half with that penalty(another inconsistency by the refs).

I hope refs improve this weekend.
